Indian Paintbrush is one of our very precocious girls. She is a great mom, very inquisitive and sometimes a little bossy. ;-) But we love her for her strong personality. We also love her dark maroon brown glossy fleece that spins up some gorgeous yarn. Jan. 23, 2016 - Indian Paintbrush had a cute little boy today. We have a few too many boys, so Harvey is currently on sale for $600.

Our little Harvey is growing up to be handsome Dark Maroon Brown, almost Bay Black boy. He has white lips and a white/grey streak on his head. He always looks like he has milk lips so, that's how he got his name.

Harvey has the grey gene and has the potential to throw grey breed to another grey girl. His full sister is our grey girl Stormy.

Harvey REALLY wants to be a stud boy, he has loved the ladies since a very young age.

He has a nice head, really good luster, solid body structure; so he does have some herdsire potential for someone that is breeding for color. He has been weened and is ready to go to a new home.

For handspinners, Harvey's color is really fantastic. The combination of luster and really rich maroon brown makes for a lovely yarn. We have several hand spinners that constantly bring up how much they like his mother Indian Paintbrush's fleece and Harvey has the same color.
